INTRODUCTION
Good Morning my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we celebrate Friday of the 11th Week in the Ordinary Time, Liturgical Calendar Year B.

FROM OUR FIRST READING
In our First reading today, read about King Joash, this highlights the importance of trusting God and the dangers of turning away from Him.
King Joash started well but later abandoned God. He listened to bad advice and did what was wrong in God’s eyes. His actions led to his downfall and death. This story shows us the consequences of not following God’s ways.

When we turn away from God, we make bad choices. Joash’s life reminds us to stay close to God and follow His teachings. Abandoning God leads to trouble and sadness.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In the Gospel reading, Jesus tells us not to worry about our basic needs. He says that God takes care of the birds and flowers. If God provides for them, He will surely provide for us too.
Jesus teaches us to trust God completely. He knows what we need and will take care of us. We should not let worry and fear control our lives.
Instead of worrying, we should seek God’s kingdom first. When we focus on God and His righteousness, everything else falls into place. God will make sure we have what we need.

CONCLUSION
Dear friends in Christ, Jesus’ words remind us to put God first in everything. By seeking His kingdom, we show our trust in Him. We can find peace knowing that God is in control.
We are all called to trust and follow God. When we stay faithful, God blesses us and provides for our needs.
And so, let us learn from King Joash’s mistakes and choose to stay close to God. By seeking His kingdom and trusting in His care, we find true security and peace.
I wish everyone a Blessed Saturday.
