INTRODUCTION
Good Morning my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we commemorate in a special way, the great love of God which has been manifested by the coming of His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. His Most Sacred Heart, His bleeding and wounded Heart, pierced for our salvation.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In our First Reading today, God speaks of His care for Israel. He cared for them like a loving parent, teaching and healing them. God’s love is constant. He chooses mercy over anger. This shows how patient and compassionate God is with us.

FROM OUR SECOND READING
In our second reading this morning, Paul prays for believers. He asks that we be strengthened by God’s Spirit. Paul wants us to understand how much Christ loves us. Paul’s prayer in Ephesians helps us see the depth of Jesus’ love. He wants us to be filled with the fullness of God. This means living in God’s love every day.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
Our Gospel reading this morning, shows Jesus’ love through His sacrifice. The soldiers did not break His legs because He was already dead. Instead, they pierced His side, fulfilling Scripture.
This act reminds us of the cost of Jesus’ love. He gave His life for us. His pierced side is a sign of His great love for humanity.

CONCLUSION
The beautiful Feast of today, calls us to reflect on God’s love. We see how God’s mercy and care are shown in the readings. We are reminded to trust in God’s compassion, to live in His love every day. By understanding His love, we can grow closer to Him. Let us open our hearts to His mercy and grace.
Happy Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
